Judge Sandy Karlan

Judge Karlan is one of the leaders of the "Mindfulness in Law Committee" that is meeting to explore ways of integrating mindfulness into the South Florida legal community and whose work has led to the formation of the Dade-County Bar Association and Federal Bar Association Mindfulness in Law Joint Task Force.

As President-elect of the Florida Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (FLAFCC) she has coordinated a mindfulness presentation for the opening plenary of its March 2012 conference.
